After the Flint water crisis got everyone’s attention, testing revealed alarming amounts of lead in other cities’ drinking water, coming from the lead pipes that deliver the water to millions of homes. Some communities are spending millions of dollars to get those lead pipes out of the ground, while other cities are hoping the federal government comes to their rescue. Episode 1025/Segment 2
