Carolyn Mazloomi, Quilter and Educator

Carolyn Mazloomi of West Chester, Ohio is a strong and effective advocate for African American women quilters, establishing the Women of Quilters Network in 1986. Her own quilts beautifully recount African American history and are regularly shown in galleries. She additionally lectures, establishes quilt exhibitions and helps quilt researchers throughout the United States.
